Born in Tucson, AZ, Hunter was exposed to art at a very young age. He has been creating and selling art professionally since the age of 15. Apprenticing at a tailoring shop in his teen years, learning about clothing design, silhouettes, and transforming a sketch into reality provided the inspiration for his figurative paintings. Working mainly with mixed media his paintings are rich in color and texture, imitating the textiles and cuts found in high end fashion.

After years of expressionistic figurative work, traveling to various cities and participating in several art fairs, the desire to explore pop art began to grow. His venture into pop art began with Betty Boop in a variety of collage techniques showcased at Red Dot Miami 2022. The positive reception received confirmed that pop art was the new direction for his art career. His latest works include iconic cartoon characters like Betty Boop, Jessica Rabbit, Snoopy, and Bambi in contemporary outfits and luxury labels. Each piece is finished with a top coat of resin that accentuates the details in his paintings.
